Custom microservices micro-architecture transition for global logistics node
Completely refactored server routing, microservices concurrency, and cluster orchestration to achieve extreme reliability.
The Challenge
The client faced massive scalability bottlenecks on their legacy monolithic platform. During peak workloads, system query latency spiked by 400%, leading to connection drops and operational delays. Cloud infrastructure expenditures grew rapidly without matching performance gains.
Our Solution
BTC Technologies completely restructured the data pipelines, transitioning services to a concurrent Go-based microservices architecture. We implemented custom Redis caching clusters, containerized the processes using Docker, and deployed a robust auto-scaling cluster orchestrated by Kubernetes on AWS.
The Results
Following deployment, average response times dropped from 2.4 seconds to under 200 milliseconds. Compute costs declined immediately by 43% due to optimized microservice CPU allocations. System availability metrics now show a consistent 99.99% uptime, successfully carrying the client through major quarterly transactions.
